Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Prices of Chicken Meat, Sugar, and Salt Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (30/12/2024) at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, premium rice, dry soybean (import), shallots, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, skipjack tuna, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp3,910 (5.85%) to Rp70,700 per kg. Iodized fine salt prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp1,340 (12.23%) to Rp9,620 per kg.
