Rice Prices in Traditional Markets of Central Kalimantan Province Decreased by 3.66% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 2:44 PM WIB, the price of rice in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan Province has decreased by Rp 50 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 18,400.

Compared to the price over the past month, the price of rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp 19,100.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan over the past three months has fallen by 6.12%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the price of rice in traditional markets in Central Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp 19,600.

The record high for rice prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2017 with an increase of 4.96%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2017 with a decrease of -8%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Kalimantan show nine commodities decreasing and six increasing. Basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Curly Red Chili, Chili, Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Green Chili, Garlic, Beef, and Medium-Sized Garlic.
