Today's Food Prices in Jambi on April 22: Red Chili Peppers Rise, Chicken Meat Falls

Some food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) at 16:51 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are premium rice, shallots, curly red chili peppers, and large red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as red cayenne pepper, premium packaged palm cooking oil, broiler chicken meat, bulk palm cooking oil, and Honan garlic decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili pepper prices increased the most by Rp2,477 (7.6%) to Rp35,048 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler chicken meat prices decreased the most by Rp227 (0.59%) to Rp38,076 per kg.
