Friday (January 10th) Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Cooking Oil, Onions, and Sugar Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (10/1/2025) at 13:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, red chilies, mackerel, garlic bulbs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, packaged cooking oil, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp1,160 (7.42%), reaching Rp16,790 per liter. Chicken eggs experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp70 (0.25%), reaching Rp28,110 per kg.
