Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra, How Much are Chilies?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (3/7/2024) at 11:41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, red chilies, iodized fine salt, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and shallots have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp510 (4.58%) to Rp11,650 per kg. Shallots experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp670 (1.85%) to Rp35,520 per kg.
