The 2023 China Masters badminton championship concluded on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Indonesia sent 14 representatives to compete in the "Bamboo Curtain" country.

The defeat of the pair, familiarly known as Fajar/Rian, affected their world ranking.
Based on the latest ranking released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on November 28, 2023, Fajar/Rian dropped one place to fifth in the world with 86,829 points.
A similar fate befell the pair Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan after being eliminated in the first round of the China Masters 2023. This pair dropped one position to 10th place with 70,780 points.
Meanwhile, the world's number one ranking in the men's doubles category is still occupied by players from China, Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang. This pair emerged as the winners of the China Masters 2023 with a total of 94,391 points.
