Today's Food Prices in Jambi: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (13/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp870 (2.99%) to Rp29,950 per kg. Milkfish showed the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp4,110 (13.65%) to Rp26,000 per kg.
