West Java Food Prices Wednesday (20/11): Prices of Oil, Chilies, and Eggs Drop

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (20/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, shallots, premium rice, garlic bulbs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp500 (1.34%) to Rp37,820 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp30 (0.53%) to Rp5,610 per kg.
