Lampung Region's Food Prices Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 08.01 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, granulated sugar, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, mackerel, shallots, premium rice, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,140 (7.68%), reaching Rp30,000 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp5,500 (12.09%), reaching Rp40,000 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 18 food commodities in Lampung according to Bapanas as of June 1st, 2024, at 08.01 WIB.

2. Shallots: Rp46,000 per kg (down 0.41%)
3. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 0.87%)
4. Red Chilies: Rp40,000 per kg (down 12.09%)
5. Red Chili Peppers: Rp35,000 per kg (down 10.19%)
6. Chicken Meat: Rp35,000 per kg (down 0.68%)
7. Milkfish: Rp30,000 per kg (up 7.68%)
8. Mackerel: Rp30,000 per kg (down 9.28%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (up 3.63%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (down 4.04%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,000 per kg (up 0.67%)
