Food Prices Today in D.I. Yogyakarta: Red Chili Up, Chicken Meat Down

Today, prices of several food items in D.I. Yogyakarta are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (5/11/2025) at 2:30 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include curly red chili, premium rice, bulk wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as shallots, medium rice, mackerel, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Large red chili saw the highest increase of Rp2,072 (4.14%) to Rp52,143 per kg. Packaged wheat flour prices experienced the sharpest decline of Rp338 (2.84%) to Rp11,575 per kg.
