The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Lampung with a weekly average vaccination rate above the provincial average, which currently stands at 3,035.88 doses as of Saturday, April 16, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average vaccination rates above 4,000 doses are Lampung Tengah, Lampung Timur, and Lampung Selatan, with 6,083 doses, 5,209 doses, and 3,500 doses respectively.
Lampung Tengah recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Lampung with 6,083 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 1.29 million doses have been used. According to the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination rate in this region has reached 67.88 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in 44 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the remaining stock of 273,720 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in Lampung.
Following Lampung Tengah is Lampung Timur with a vaccination rate of 5,209 doses. Vaccination in this district is reported to be lower. The daily average weekly vaccination statistics remain unchanged compared to the previous day.
Next is the weekly average vaccination in Lampung Selatan at 3,500 doses and a complete vaccination rate of 70.99 percent; Pesawaran with 2,438 doses and a complete vaccination rate of 64.08 percent; and Way Kanan with 2,417 doses and a complete vaccination rate of 78.06 percent.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccination rates of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
