The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Banten with weekly average vaccinations above the provincial average of 4,844.38 doses as of Wednesday, June 22, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with averages exceeding 7,000 doses are Serang, Tangerang, and Tangerang City, with values of 11,723 doses, 8,431 doses, and 6,648 doses respectively.
Serang ranks first with a weekly average vaccination of 11,723 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 1.08 million doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 60.56 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in eight days. This remaining usage time is calculated from the remaining stock of 96,835 doses and the highest vaccine usage in the last week in Banten.
Tangerang follows in second place. The achievement of complete vaccination in this district has reached 76.27 percent. Compared to the previous week, the weekly average vaccination in this district reached 8,431 doses. The available vaccine stock in this district will run out in 31 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 264,200 doses.
Still in the top five, besides the two regions above, are the weekly average vaccination in Tangerang City at 6,648 doses and complete vaccination achievement of 89.16 percent; Tangerang Selatan City with vaccination of 4,295 doses and complete vaccination achievement of 88.77 percent; and Pandeglang with a weekly average vaccination of 2,709 doses and complete vaccination achievement of 68.67 percent.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
