11.5% of the Population in North Tapanuli Regency Falls into the Poverty Category

The poverty rate in Tapanuli Tengah Regency as of November 30, 2023, was recorded at 11.5 percent. This figure is down 0.21 percentage points compared to the previous year's reported 11.71 percent.

The trend of the poverty rate in Tapanuli Tengah Regency over the past 10 years has been downward, moving from 14.47 percent to 11.5 percent.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the total population of this regency in 2023 was 366,980.
