The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded two regencies/cities in Central Java with a weekly average vaccination rate above the average of 4,852.56 doses as of Saturday, May 28, 2022.
The three top regencies/cities with vaccination rates above 5,000 doses are Banyumas, Purworejo, and Cilacap, with 11,333 doses, 6,068 doses, and 4,738 doses respectively.
Banyumas recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Central Java with 11,333 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 2.35 million doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 86.97 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this regency will run out in the next 10 days. This remaining usage time is calculated based on the available stock of 120,870 doses and the highest vaccine usage in Central Java over the last week.
Following Banyumas is Purworejo with a vaccination rate of 6,068 doses. The available vaccine stock in this regency will run out in the next eight days. This remaining usage time is calculated from the remaining stock recorded at 53,114 doses.
Next is Cilacap with a weekly average vaccination rate of 4,738 doses. Complete vaccination coverage has reached 80.86 percent. Purbalingga, with 4,655 doses and 82.39% complete vaccination coverage, and Magelang with a weekly average vaccination rate of 3,777 doses and 74.76% complete vaccination coverage follow.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
