The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded two districts/cities with an average weekly vaccination rate above the average in West Sulawesi, which is currently recorded at 547.33 doses of data as of Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
The average vaccination of the top three districts/cities with figures above 0 doses are Polewali Mandar, Mamasa, and Mamuju, with values of 1,300 doses, 817 doses, and 463 doses, respectively.
Polewali Mandar recorded the highest average weekly vaccination rate in West Sulawesi with 1,300 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 348,240 doses. In the national dashboard data recapitulation, the achievement of complete vaccination in this region has reached 47.81 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 60 days. This remaining usage period is calculated from the remaining stock recorded at 78,471 doses and the highest vaccine usage in the last week in West Sulawesi.
Next is Mamasa in second place. The achievement of complete vaccination in this district has reached 65.26 percent. Compared to the previous week, the average weekly vaccination in this district reached 817 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 19,376 doses. This stock is estimated to run out in the next 23 days.
Next is the average weekly vaccination in Mamuju at 463 doses and the achievement of complete vaccination at 52.26 percent; Mamuju Tengah with vaccination at 257 doses and the achievement of complete vaccination at 47.59%; and the average weekly vaccination in Pasangkayu at 242 doses and the achievement of complete vaccination at 52.35%.
Areas outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission in some areas has decreased, the government urges everyone to participate in reducing COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the rate of coronavirus transmission.
