The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Bengkulu with a weekly average vaccination rate above the average of 746.33 doses as of Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with an average of over 1,000 doses are Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu Utara, and Lebong, with 1,323 doses, 1,076 doses, and 881 doses respectively.
Rejang Lebong recorded the highest weekly average vaccination rate in Bengkulu with 1,323 doses. As of yesterday, a total of 316,530 doses have been used. Based on the national dashboard data recapitulation, the complete vaccination rate in this region has reached 70.3 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in the next 35 days. This remaining usage period is calculated based on the available stock of 47,170 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in Bengkulu.
Bengkulu Utara follows in second place. The complete vaccination rate in this district has reached 75.49 percent. Compared to the previous week, the weekly average vaccination rate in this district reached 1,076 doses. Vaccination in this district is reported to be lower. Meanwhile, the daily average weekly vaccination statistics remain unchanged compared to the previous day.
Rounding out the top five, besides the two regions above, is Lebong with a weekly average vaccination of 881 doses. Complete vaccination coverage has reached 71.21 percent. Bengkulu Selatan has a weekly average vaccination of 709 doses and a complete vaccination rate of 74.87 percent, and Seluma has a vaccination rate of 698 doses and a complete vaccination rate of 67.89 percent.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccinations of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
