The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded three districts/cities in Lampung with a weekly average vaccination rate above the provincial average of 3,035.88 doses as of Monday, May 23, 2022.
The three top districts/cities with average weekly vaccination rates above 4,000 doses are Lampung Tengah, Lampung Timur, and Lampung Selatan, with 6,083 doses, 5,209 doses, and 3,500 doses respectively.
Lampung Tengah recorded the highest average weekly vaccination rate in Lampung with 6,083 doses. Vaccine usage up to yesterday was recorded at 1.29 million doses. In the national dashboard recapitulation, the complete vaccination rate in this region has reached 69.28 percent.
According to the Ministry of Health, the available vaccine stock in this district will run out in 44 days. This remaining usage time is calculated from the remaining stock of 273,720 doses, and vaccine usage is the highest in Lampung.
Lampung Timur follows in second place. The complete vaccination rate in this district has reached 58.37 percent. Compared to the previous week, the average weekly vaccination rate in this district reached 5,209 doses. The currently available vaccine stock is 102,780 doses. This stock is estimated to run out in 19 days.
In addition to these two regions, still in the top five is Lampung Selatan with an average weekly vaccination rate of 3,500 doses. The complete vaccination coverage has reached 72.43 percent. The average weekly vaccination rate in Pesawaran is 2,438 doses with a complete vaccination rate of 65.89%, and Way Kanan with 2,417 doses and a complete vaccination rate of 80.74%.
Some of the regions outside Java with the highest average vaccination rates include Simalungun, Rokan Hulu, and Lampung Tengah, with average vaccination rates of 7,506 doses, 6,305 doses, and 6,083 doses respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
