Banjar City ranked first with the highest number of COVID-19 deaths, at 0.53 per 100,000 people per week. The number of COVID-19 deaths in this city shows no improvement, as it increased compared to the previous week, which reported zero COVID-19 deaths.
The same condition occurred in Tasikmalaya City, which recorded 0.15 COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people per week. In this city, the number of COVID-19 deaths is also higher than the previous week, which reported zero COVID-19 deaths. Indramayu follows, recording 0.06 COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people per week in West Java Province.
Bandung Barat and Cirebon are next, with 0.06 and 0.05 COVID-19 deaths per 100,000 people per week, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of COVID-19 deaths across the 34 provinces is currently on an upward trend compared to the previous week, which was only 0.03 deaths per 100,000 people per week.
