Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination program to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 189,910 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 189,910 people (143.97% of the target), and for the second dose, 140.93% of the target was achieved, or 267,630 people.
For public sector workers, the target was 2.07 million people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 2.76 million people (133.06% of the target), and the second dose reached 120.57% of the target, with 2.5 million doses administered.
For the elderly, the target was 4.34 million people. The first dose was administered to 3.22 million people (74.34% of the target). The second dose reached only 59.31%, or 2.57 million people.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 21.64 million people. The first dose was reportedly administered to 16.76 million people (77.77% of the target). The second dose reached only 64.3%, or 13.85 million people.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 3.59 million people. The first dose was administered to 3.44 million people (95.84% of the target). The second dose reached 84.8%, or 3.04 million people.
