The COVID-19 transmission situation in Prabumulih City appears to be unimproved. This is indicated by the number of cases this week, which is still higher than the previous week's figure of 0.51 cases per 100,000 population per week.
Palembang City is next in second place, recording a weekly confirmation rate of 0.29 cases per 100,000 population. Compared to the previous week's 0.4 cases, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases this week appears lower.
Rounding out the top five, besides the two areas above, are Ogan Ilir, Muara Enim, and Musi Banyuasin, each recording weekly confirmations of 0.23 cases, 0.15 cases, and 0.15 cases, respectively.
According to the Ministry of Health's list, the next five regencies/cities in the top 10 are Banyuasin, Empat Lawang, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan, and Lahat. These areas recorded an average increase of over 0.11 cases per 100,000 population.
