Data as of Saturday, July 2, 2022, shows the national average examination rate at 7.15 percent. This suspect examination data is calculated based on the number of suspected individuals and close contacts compared to the number of people examined in each region, which is then reported to the Ministry of Health.
The top five, starting from the highest weekly suspect examination percentage, are Simalungun (92.06%), Mandailing Natal (84.75%), Pangandaran (67.88%), Banggai Islands (63.77%), and East Lombok (62.57%).
Simalungun is ranked first. With a population of 877,710, the weekly suspect examination percentage is recorded at 92.06 percent. The latest positive rate is 0.24 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week's percentage.
Next is Mandailing Natal. The population in this region is recorded at 460,360. In an effort to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly suspect examination percentage is 84.75 percent. Meanwhile, the positive rate in this region is recorded at 0 percent, or has decreased compared to the previous week's ratio.
Then, Pangandaran recorded 67.88 percent examination, Banggai Islands recorded 63.77 percent examination, and East Lombok recorded 62.57 percent examination.
Anticipating the impact of Omicron in various regions, based on the recapitulation of national Covid data, there are 185 regencies/cities in Indonesia that actively report a higher daily weekly suspect examination percentage than before.
