Vaccination Update in North Sumatra, Data as of Thursday, March 3, 2022

As of Thursday, March 3, 2022, North Sumatra Province has achieved 91.37% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 10.43 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 11.42 million people. The second dose vaccination has reached 69.58% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 71,060 recipients. For the first dose, 71,060 people were vaccinated (132.52% of the target), and for the second dose, 91,270 people were vaccinated (128.45% of the target).

For public sector workers, the target was 879,800 people. The first dose vaccination reached 989,390 people (112.46% of the target), and the second dose reached 926,690 people (105.33% of the target).

For the elderly, the target was 1.09 million people. The first dose was administered to 840,790 people (76.89% of the target), while the second dose reached 597,620 people (54.65% of the target).

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 7.79 million people. The first dose was administered to 5.54 million people (71.81% of the target), while the second dose reached 4.07 million people (52.91% of the target).

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 1.59 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.63 million people (102.91% of the target), while the second dose reached 1.36 million people (85.68% of the target).
