The top five, starting with the highest number of people tested per week, are Kutai Kartanegara (984 people), Samarinda City (964 people), Sukabumi (955 people), Jember (953 people), and Manado City (952 people).
Kutai Kartanegara ranks first. With a population of 792,740, the number of people tested in the last week was 984 per week. The latest positive rate is 1.02 percent. The positive rate in this region increased compared to the previous week.
Next is Samarinda City. The population is 866,880. In an effort to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people tested in the last week was 964 per week. The positive rate in this region is 1.76 percent, also higher than the previous week.
Sukabumi recorded 955 tests per week, Jember recorded 953 tests per week, and Manado City recorded 952 tests per week.

Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to continue reducing Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
