As of Friday, September 10, 2021, a total of 114.36 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered nationwide. This includes 71.67 million first doses, 41.18 million second doses, and 1.51 million doses administered through community-based vaccination programs.
A total of 1.95 million healthcare workers have received their first dose (132.95% of the target). 1.78 million healthcare workers have received their second dose (121.45% of the target). Furthermore, 767,620 healthcare workers have received a third dose (52.26% of the target).
For public sector workers, 27.45 million people have received their first dose (158.43% of the target), and 13.86 million (79.96% of the target) have received their second dose.
The elderly were prioritized in the initial vaccination phase. To date, 5.62 million elderly individuals (26.07% of the target) have received their first dose, and 4 million (18.56% of the target) have received their second dose.
Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vulnerable and general populations. For this group, 32.64 million people (23.75% of the target) have received their first dose, and 18.79 million (13.75% of the target) have received their second dose.
Finally, for adolescents aged 12-17 years, 3.11 million (11.65% of the target) have received their first dose, and 2.13 million (7.99% of the target) have received their second dose.
