Vaccination Coverage in East Kalimantan Until Saturday, September 18, 2021, Reached 36.23 Percent of the Target

As of Saturday, September 18, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in East Kalimantan province has reached 36.23 percent. This equates to 1.04 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.87 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 20.23 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 28,220 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 28,220 people (134.69 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 124.94 percent or 35,260 people were vaccinated.

Public sector workers have a target of 284,190 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 400,630 people (140.97 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 84.86 percent, or 241,170 people.

The elderly target is 189,530 people. For the first dose, 57,220 people have received the vaccine (30.19 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 23.96 percent, or 45,410 people.

The general vulnerable population target is 1.97 million people. For the first dose, 401,400 people have reportedly received the vaccine (26.12 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 12.75 percent, or 176,660 people.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 397,460 people. For the first dose, 29,660 people have received the vaccine (7.46 percent of the target). The second dose has reached 2.01 percent, or 7,972 people.
