The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 190 districts/cities with a seven-day aglomeration positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 10.47 percent (data as of Wednesday, November 2, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 54.29 percent are Toli Toli, Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, Halmahera Utara, Sumba Tengah, and Sumba Barat, with values of 69.77 percent, 63.64 percent, 61.7 percent, 60 percent, and 54.29 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily seven-day positivity rate higher than the previous day was recorded in 186 districts/cities, while 113 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Toli Toli, Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, and Halmahera Utara, with seven-day positivity rates of 69.77 percent, 63.64 percent, and 61.7 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
