913,660 people in East Nusa Tenggara have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

As of Friday, September 10, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in East Nusa Tenggara province reached 23.85 percent. This equates to 913,660 vaccine recipients out of a target of 3.83 million people. The second dose vaccination coverage reached 12.92 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 32,220 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully administered to 32,220 people (131.43 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 120.35 percent or 38,780 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target was 402,220 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 435,030 people (108.16 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 52.6 percent, or 211,590 people.

For the elderly, the target was 405,570 people. For the first dose, 53,400 people were vaccinated (13.17 percent of the target). The second dose reached 8.07 percent, or 32,730 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 2.41 million people. For the first dose, 363,930 people were vaccinated (15.14 percent of the target). The second dose reached 8.35 percent, or 200,350 people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 582,840 people. For the first dose, 18,110 people were vaccinated (3.11 percent of the target). The second dose reached 1.86 percent, or 10,820 people.
