The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 28 districts/cities with an agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 exceeding the national average, currently recorded at 0.01 per 100,000 population per week, data as of Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
The five districts/cities with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19, exceeding 0.15 per 100,000 population per week, are Pulang Pisau (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Takalar (0.33 per 100,000 population per week), Purworejo (0.28 per 100,000 population per week), Labuhanbatu Utara (0.27 per 100,000 population per week), and Rembang (0.15 per 100,000 population per week).
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 in most districts/cities outside Java. A daily agglomeration death rate due to Covid-19 higher than previous days was recorded in one district/city.
Areas outside Java with the highest agglomeration death rates due to Covid-19 include Pulang Pisau (0.78 per 100,000 population per week), Takalar (0.33 per 100,000 population per week), and Labuhanbatu Utara (0.27 per 100,000 population per week).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
