The number of people in Central Java who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 13.44 million.

As of Wednesday, October 6, 2021, 46.79 percent of the target population in Central Java province has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 13.44 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 28.73 million people. The second dose vaccination rate reached 22.23 percent of the target as of the previous day.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the COVID-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 164,920 recipients. For the first dose, 164,920 people were vaccinated (147.07 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 138.87 percent of the target was achieved, or 229,030 people.

For public officials, the target was 2.21 million people. The first dose vaccination reached 3.35 million people (151.19 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 111.38 percent of the target, with 2.47 million doses administered.

For the elderly, the target was 3.68 million people. The first dose was administered to 1.53 million people (41.5 percent of the target). The second dose reached 26.53 percent of the target, or 976,620 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 19.3 million people. The first dose was administered to 7.99 million people (41.57 percent of the target). The second dose reached 13.11 percent of the target, or 2.5 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 3.37 million people. The first dose was administered to 302,630 people (8.98 percent of the target). The second dose reached 5.5 percent of the target, with 185,350 doses administered.
