Several districts/cities in Central Sulawesi province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Banggai Kepulauan Regency, Tojo Una Una Regency, and Parigi Moutong Regency.
As of yesterday, in the vaccination program, these three regencies had only completed 97,203 second doses out of the expected target of 523,190 vaccine recipients.
Banggai Kepulauan Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 17.8 percent, the lowest among the other 13 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 45.3 percent, or 54,850 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 85,615 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Banggai Kepulauan last week was 613 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 26,747 doses.
Next is Tojo Una Una Regency. For the second dose, this region has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 114,400 vaccine recipients, only 18.2 percent, or 20,768 participants, have received the second dose.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 39 percent, or 65,898 vaccine recipients.
Parigi Moutong Regency is ranked third. With a target of 323,180 vaccine recipients, only 18.9 percent, or 61,169 participants, have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Parigi Moutong last week was 1,872 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently 73,036 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Central Sulawesi has reached 47.26 percent, or 1,010,000 vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 27.25 percent, or 582,070 vaccine recipients.
