Several districts in Jakarta, DKI Jakarta province, still record relatively low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. These include East Jakarta, West Jakarta, and North Jakarta administrative cities.
As of yesterday, the three cities had only completed 5.51 million second doses out of the targeted 5.73 million vaccine recipients.
East Jakarta is ranked lowest. As of yesterday, its second-dose vaccination rate reached 86.89%, the lowest among the six cities. The first-dose vaccination rate, however, reached 103.55%, with 4.71 million vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in East Jakarta targets 2.4 million participants.
Next is West Jakarta, which has the second-lowest second-dose vaccination rate. With a target of 1.93 million vaccine recipients, it achieved 97.79% or 1.89 million recipients.
The first-dose vaccination rate reached 106.32%, with 4.04 million vaccine recipients.
North Jakarta is ranked third. With a target of 1.4 million vaccine recipients, the second-dose vaccination rate reached 109.46%, or 1.53 million recipients.
At the provincial level, DKI Jakarta's total first-dose vaccination rate reached 147.1%, with 12.35 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination rate reached 120.11%, covering 10.08 million vaccine recipients.
