As of Saturday, September 18, 2021, the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination in Bengkulu province has reached 23.5 percent. This equates to 365,070 vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.55 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 13.81 percent of the target.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 15,470 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 15,470 people (111.22 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 101.09 percent or 15,640 people were vaccinated.
Public service workers have a target of 164,190 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 153,920 people (93.74 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 50.19 percent, or 82,410 people.
The elderly target is 133,450 people. For the first dose, 26,090 people have received the vaccine (19.55 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 13.3 percent, or 17,740 people.
The target for the vulnerable general public is 1.03 million people. For the first dose, 161,670 people have reportedly received the vaccine (15.64 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 9.09 percent, or 93,970 people.
Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 206,640 people. For the first dose, 6,177 people have received the vaccine (2.99 percent of the target). The second dose has only reached 2.36 percent, or 4,881 people.
