The implementation of the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination program has been underway for a semester across all regions. The latest data (as of Sunday, October 8, 2023) shows that Mimika Regency in Papua has the highest third-dose vaccination rate at 19.83 percent.

Previously, the first-dose vaccination rate in Mimika Regency reached 80.29 percent, and the second-dose rate reached 65.93 percent. A total of 285,920 doses have been administered in this region, exceeding the target of 172,190 vaccine recipients.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health's dashboard, the national vaccination rates for the first and second doses have reached 86.88 percent and 74.56 percent, respectively, of the target population.
