Several districts/cities in East Java province still record a relatively low second-dose vaccination rate compared to other regions. Some of these districts/cities include Pamekasan Regency, Bangkalan Regency, and Lumajang Regency.
As of today, in implementing the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 1.23 million doses for the second dose vaccination out of the expected target of 2.36 million vaccine recipients.
Pamekasan Regency is ranked first. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only recorded 33.58 percent. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 38 districts/cities. Meanwhile, for the first dose achievement, as of today, 72.97 percent has been achieved, or 718,070 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city is planned to target 652,820 participants. Next is Bangkalan Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is ranked second lowest. With a vaccine target of 825,180 participants, 58.79 percent or 485,100 participants have been successfully vaccinated.
The first dose achievement has recorded 77.36 percent, or 1.14 million vaccine recipients. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Bangkalan recorded [number of participants - the original text is missing this data]. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 142,230 doses.
Another is Lumajang Regency, ranked third. With a vaccine target of 880,790 participants, 59.73 percent or 526,090 participants have been successfully vaccinated for the second dose. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the average vaccination last week in Lumajang recorded 2,503 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 118,030 doses.
As for vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in East Java has reached 85.2 percent, or 30.11 million vaccine recipients. Meanwhile, the second-dose vaccination has recorded 73.025 percent, reaching 25.81 million vaccine recipients.
