The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 91 districts/cities with weekly agglomeration tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 2.28 percent as of Saturday, December 24, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 20.33 percent are Metro City, Tasikmalaya, Cianjur, Tanjung Pinang City, and Pematangsiantar City, with values of 24 percent, 23 percent, 23 percent, 21 percent, and 20.33 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in tracing in most districts/cities outside Java. Daily tracing rates higher than previous days were recorded in 12 districts/cities, while eight districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, Tanjung Pinang City, and Pematangsiantar City, with tracing rates of 24 percent, 21 percent, and 20.33 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
