As of today, Monday, December 20, 2021, West Java Province has achieved 70.42% coverage for the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This equates to 26.69 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 37.91 million people. The second dose vaccination has reached 51.17% of the target as of yesterday.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 181,700 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 181,700 people (143.3% of the target), and for the second dose, 137.62% or 250,060 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers have a target of 2.2 million people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 3.59 million people (163.4% of the target), and the second dose has reached 145.05% or 3.18 million people.
The elderly target is 3.41 million people. For the first dose, 2.29 million people have received the vaccine (67.32% of the target). The second dose has only reached 39.69% or 1.35 million people.
The target for the vulnerable general public is 27.25 million people. For the first dose, 16.36 million people have reportedly received the vaccine (60.67% of the target). The second dose has only reached 42.27% or 11.35 million people.
Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 4.87 million people. For the first dose, 4.01 million people have received the vaccine (82.47% of the target). The second dose has reached 63.49% or 3.09 million people.
