As of Friday, October 22, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Central Kalimantan province reached 46.86 percent. This equates to 954,050 vaccine recipients out of a target of 2.04 million people. The second dose vaccination coverage reached 27.44 percent of the target.
Based on target groups, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 19,930 recipients. For the first dose, 19,930 people were vaccinated (123.34 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 118.19 percent or 23,550 people were vaccinated.
For public officials, the target was 198,970 people. The first dose vaccination reached 267,890 people (134.64 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 111.4 percent, or 221,670 people.
For the elderly, the target was 141,020 people. For the first dose, 51,520 people were vaccinated (36.53 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 26 percent, or 36,660 people, were vaccinated.
For the vulnerable general public, the target was 1.39 million people. For the first dose, 466,920 people were vaccinated (36.75 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 16.87 percent, or 202,530 people, were vaccinated.
For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 283,580 people. For the first dose, 98,300 people were vaccinated (34.67 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 14.76 percent, or 41,860 people, were vaccinated.
