- DKI Jakarta recorded 794 new cases
DKI Jakarta is ranked first. The increase in cases here is recorded at 794 cases, or a 0.06 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which has reached 1.42 million. With this addition, the total number of cases in DKI Jakarta is now 1.42 million.
In addition to recording the highest number of new cases, DKI Jakarta also recorded three deaths. Thus, the total number of deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic in DKI Jakarta has reached 15,550.
The trend of case development in this region over the past week has decreased. This condition can be seen from the lower confirmation rate per 100,000 population compared to last week.
Similarly, the positive rate in this region is recorded as lower than before. According to the Ministry of Health, the Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) for COVID-19 hospitals in this province is recorded at 9.14 percent.
- West Java recorded 260 new cases
Next is West Java. The increase in COVID-19 cases here is 260 cases. The seven-day positive rate in this region is recorded at 6.79 percent. In an effort to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of people tested for COVID-19 in this province is recorded at 45.37 per week.
- East Java recorded 195 new cases
Third is East Java. In this province, the increase in cases today is 195 cases, or a 0.03 percent increase compared to the previous day's cumulative total, which is recorded at 602,640.
Unfortunately, in addition to recording a high number of new cases, East Java also recorded one death. Thus, the total number of deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic in East Java has reached 31,776. The seven-day positive rate is at 7.25 percent, and the BOR for COVID-19 hospitals is reported at 4.94 percent.
- Banten recorded 174 new cases

- North Sumatra recorded 24 new cases
