Several districts/cities in Central Kalimantan province still record quite low second-dose vaccination rates compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Kapuas Regency, Gunung Mas Regency, and Katingan Regency.
As of yesterday's data, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 209,310 second doses out of the expected target of 542,890 vaccine recipients.
Kapuas Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only recorded 34.02 percent. This figure is the lowest compared to the other 14 districts/cities. Meanwhile, for the first dose, as of yesterday, 76.18 percent has been achieved, or 356,010 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this district/city targets 320,760 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Kapuas was 5,454 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 56,218 doses.
Next is Gunung Mas Regency. For the second dose vaccination, this area is the second lowest. With a vaccine target of 101,500 participants, only 41.13 percent or 41,740 participants have been vaccinated.
The first-dose achievement is recorded at 71.01 percent, or 114,990 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Gunung Mas was 287 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 11,136 doses.
Katingan Regency is ranked third. With a vaccine target of 120,640 participants, only 48.45 percent or 58,450 participants have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination last week in Katingan was 689 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 10,646 doses.
Regarding vaccination achievement at the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in Central Kalimantan has reached 87.3 percent, or 1.78 million vaccine recipients. Meanwhile, the second-dose vaccination has reached 54.3 percent, reaching 1.11 million vaccine recipients.
