Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan is the regency with the highest number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases, at 1.6 per 100,000 population/week. The number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases in this regency has not improved, showing an increase compared to the previous week, which recorded 0.27 per 100,000 population/week.
The same condition occurred in Palembang City, which recorded 1.49 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population. This figure is lower than the previous week's 1.84 per 100,000 population/week. Next is Lahat Regency in South Sumatra Province, recording 0.95 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population.
Musi Rawas and Ogan Komering Ulu follow, with 0.95 and 0.79 weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population, respectively.
Nationally, the average number of weekly confirmed positive Covid-19 cases across the 34 provinces is showing a decrease compared to the previous week's figure of 2.69 per 100,000 population/week.
