Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group had a target of 33,800 participants. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 33,800 people (163.13 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 159.42 percent or 41,780 people were vaccinated.
Public sector workers had a target of 334,750 people. The first dose vaccination reportedly reached 604,880 people (180.69 percent of the target), and the second dose reached 170.78 percent, or 571,680 people.
The elderly target was 472,850 people. For the first dose, 391,440 people were vaccinated (82.78 percent of the target). The second dose reached 73.83 percent, or 349,120 people.
The target for vulnerable members of the general public was 1.73 million people. For the first dose, 1.45 million people were vaccinated (84.74 percent of the target). The second dose reached 77.09 percent, or 1.32 million people.
Another target group was adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 311,600 people. For the first dose, 358,200 people were vaccinated (114.96 percent of the target). The second dose reached 104.36 percent, or 325,170 people.
