Central Java Province recorded an addition of 156 Covid-19 cases on Thursday, October 14, 2021. This increase was the highest compared to other provinces. Today, Central Java experienced a 34 percent increase in cases compared to the previous day, surpassing Jakarta, which had previously been in first place.
The next highest Covid-19 increases in the top five were DKI Jakarta with 113 cases, West Java with 102 cases, East Java with 86 cases, and South Sulawesi with 49 cases.
The total increase from the top 10 provinces reached 725 people (69%). The remaining increase in cases in the other 24 provinces was 328 people (31%). Today, 19 provinces recorded a decrease in the number of cases, and 13 other provinces experienced an increase. Meanwhile, Bengkulu was the only province today that did not report any additional Covid-19 cases.

Today, Indonesia added 1,053 new positive coronavirus (Covid-19) cases. With this addition of confirmed positive cases, the total number of Covid-19 cases reached 4.23 million.
