Several districts/cities in Lampung province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Tanggamus Regency, East Lampung Regency, and Pesawaran Regency.
As of yesterday, in the vaccination program, these three regencies had only completed 362,510 second doses out of the targeted 1.65 million vaccine recipients.
Tanggamus Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 21.3%. This is the lowest compared to the other 15 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 56.4%, or 367,650 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 471,720 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Tanggamus last week was 2,358 participants. The remaining vaccine stock is currently recorded at 63,516 doses.
Next is East Lampung Regency. For the second dose, this area has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 830,730 vaccine recipients, only 21.4% or 177,880 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 54.2%, or 629,850 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in East Lampung last week was 5,470 participants. Currently, the available vaccine stock is 70,286 doses.
Another is Pesawaran Regency, ranked third. With a target of 347,390 vaccine recipients, only 24.2% or 84,056 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average weekly vaccination in Pesawaran last week was 2,145 participants. The currently available vaccine stock is 39,850 doses.
Regarding the provincial-level vaccination achievement, the total first-dose vaccination in Lampung has reached 65.67%, or 4.36 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 36.85%, covering 2.45 million vaccine recipients.
