As of Tuesday, July 18, 2023, 69.09 million doses of COVID-19 booster vaccines have been administered in Indonesia. This represents 38.05% of the national vaccination target of 234.66 million doses. According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 190 booster doses were administered nationwide on the previous day.
West Java has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients nationally, with 15.52 million doses administered. Within West Java, Bogor Regency has the highest number of booster vaccine recipients, with 1.6 million doses. This is followed by Bandung Regency (1.1 million doses), Bekasi City (982,380 doses), Bekasi Regency (972,070 doses), Cianjur Regency (913,410 doses), and Bandung City (901,400 doses).
East Java is second, with 9.45 million booster doses administered. Surabaya City has the highest number of recipients in East Java, with 1.32 million doses.
Central Java is third, with 8.64 million booster doses administered. This is followed by Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Banten, with 5.38 million, 4.21 million, and 3.01 million doses administered respectively.
