As of Thursday, October 7, 2021, the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination coverage in Maluku Province has reached 27.92 percent. This figure is equivalent to 395,880 vaccine recipients out of a target of 1.42 million people. Meanwhile, the second dose vaccination has reached 14.51 percent of the target.

Based on target groups, the details of the vaccination to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce group has a target of 14,260 recipients. For the first dose, vaccination was successfully carried out for 14,260 people (105.96 percent of the target), and for the second dose, 93.17 percent or 13,280 people were vaccinated.

For public officials, the target is 174,710 people. The first dose vaccination has reportedly reached 151,390 people (86.65 percent of the target), and the second dose has reached 55.61 percent, or 97,140 people.

For the elderly, the target is 127,310 people. For the first dose, it has been given to 21,160 people (16.62 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 10.97 percent or 13,960 people have been vaccinated.

For the vulnerable general public, the target is 885,530 people. For the first dose, vaccination has reportedly been given to 201,430 people (22.75 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 8.69 percent or 76,930 people have been vaccinated.

Another target group is adolescents aged 12-17 years, with a target of 215,890 people. For the first dose, 6,735 people have been vaccinated (3.12 percent of the target). For the second dose, only 2 percent or 4,310 people have been vaccinated.
