The United Kingdom recorded the highest number of Omicron cases, with weekly growth reaching 2.23 percent. GISAID recorded 1.14 million Omicron cases in the UK. Daily cases in this region increased by 0.92 percent compared to the previous day.
Next is the United States, which recorded 3.82 percent more Omicron cases compared to the previous week. Daily Omicron cases in the US increased by 0.46 percent compared to the previous day.
Germany reported 244,620 Omicron cases (a 6.23% increase), Denmark saw a 2.51 percent increase to 218,110 cases compared to the previous week, and France reported 110,930 Omicron cases (a 2.52% increase).
In Indonesia, the number of Omicron cases reached 11,159, a 2.31 percent increase compared to the previous day. Since it was first monitored, the number of Omicron cases in Indonesia has continued to rise.
