Several districts/cities in North Sulawesi province still record a relatively low level of second-dose vaccination compared to other areas. Some of these districts/cities include Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Sangihe Islands Regency, and East Bolaang Mongondow Regency.
As of today, in the vaccination program, these three regencies have only completed 160,820 second doses out of the expected target of 378,280 vaccine recipients.
Bolaang Mongondow Regency is ranked first in terms of low vaccination rates. As of yesterday, the second-dose vaccination in this region only reached 42.05%. This is the lowest compared to the other 15 districts/cities. Meanwhile, the first-dose vaccination has reached 66.32%, or 213,280 vaccine recipients.
The vaccination program in this regency targets 194,830 participants. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Bolaang Mongondow was 763 participants. The current vaccine stock is 26,818 doses.
Next is Sangihe Islands Regency. For the second dose, this area has the second-lowest rate. With a target of 113,630 vaccine recipients, only 42.07% or 47,799 recipients have been vaccinated.
The first-dose vaccination has reached 65.94%, or 123,720 vaccine recipients. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in Sangihe Islands was 150 participants. The current vaccine stock is 41,157 doses.
East Bolaang Mongondow Regency is ranked third. With a target of 69,816 vaccine recipients, only 44.54% or 31,097 recipients have received the second dose. According to the Ministry of Health's data, the average vaccination rate last week in East Bolaang Mongondow was 224 participants. The current vaccine stock is 8,434 doses.
At the provincial level, the total first-dose vaccination in North Sulawesi has reached 85.22%, or 1.77 million vaccine recipients. The second-dose vaccination has reached 57.06%, reaching 1.19 million vaccine recipients.
