The number of people in South Sumatra who have received their first dose of the vaccine has reached 5.95 million.

As of Wednesday, April 13, 2022, South Sumatra Province has achieved a 94.46% vaccination rate for the first dose. This equates to 5.95 million vaccine recipients out of a target of 6.3 million people. The second dose vaccination rate has reached 73.86% of the target.

By target group, the vaccination details to combat the Covid-19 virus in this province are as follows: The health workforce target was 49,010 recipients. For the first dose, 49,010 people were vaccinated (124.87% of the target), and for the second dose, 120.96% of the target was achieved, or 59,280 people.

For public sector workers, the target was 439,480 people. The first dose vaccination reached 507,760 people (115.54% of the target), and the second dose reached 106.31% of the target, with 467,200 doses administered.

For the elderly, the target was 597,070 people. The first dose was administered to 428,000 people (71.68% of the target). The second dose reached 52.11% of the target, or 311,160 people.

For the vulnerable general public, the target was 4.37 million people. The first dose was administered to 3.36 million people (77.71% of the target). The second dose reached 58.48% of the target, or 2.52 million people.

For adolescents aged 12-17 years, the target was 846,680 people. The first dose was administered to 808,190 people (95.45% of the target). The second dose reached 79.6% of the target, with 673,970 doses administered.
