National Vaccination Update: Total Dose 1 Reaches 204.52 Million (Wednesday, September 28th)

National COVID-19 vaccination as of Wednesday, September 28, 2022, has reached 377.93 million doses. This includes 204.52 million doses of the first dose, 171.13 million doses of the second dose, and 2.28 million doses for the community-based vaccination program.

A total of 2.04 million healthcare workers have received the first dose, or 138.58% of the target. 1.98 million healthcare workers have received the second dose, or 135.12% of the target. For healthcare workers, the government also recommends a third dose, which has been administered to [number] healthcare workers, or [percentage]% of the target.

For the first dose among public officials, 18.48 million people have received it, or 106.65% of the target. Of this number, 16.75 million people, or 96.66% of the target, have received the second dose.

In addition, in the first phase, the government also prioritized the elderly population for vaccination. However, to date, only 18.4 million people have received the first dose, or 85.35% of the target. The second dose has been administered to 14.87 million people, or 69.01% of the target.

Starting in July 2021, the government also targeted vaccination for vulnerable and general population groups. For this group, 117.13 million people have received the first dose, or 82.94% of the target. The second dose has been administered to 96.8 million people, or 68.55% of the target.

Finally, another vaccination target is adolescents aged 12-17 years. A total of 25.63 million people in this group have received the first dose, or 95.97% of the target. Of that number, 22.09 million people, or 82.71% of the target, have received the second dose.
