A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily tracing rate higher than before was recorded in three regencies/cities, while 12 regencies/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Lombok Barat (26.33 percent), Simalungun (25 percent), and Padang Lawas Utara (16 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
